Beatrice Fleischlin
my ten favorite ways to undress - a personal hitlist Undressing is an action that is sometimes fun, but most often just an everyday occurrence. In my ten favorite ways to undress, Beatrice / Jimmy publishes their current top list of undressing* and at the same time reveals intimate aspects of themself: experiences with chronic illness, aging, and the ever-renewed questioning of their own identity. The performance is both a self-portrait and a shared moment of pleasure with the audience. Beatrice Fleischlin / Jimmy is a performer and theater director. Their works explore forms of existence that resist clear categorization – in-between spaces, queer concepts of identity, and overlays of biographical material and fiction.
*The first version toured from 2009–2012. For this revival, Beatrice / Jimmy has further developed the top list and adapted it to changed life circumstances.
In complicity with Anja Meser and Anna K Becker, on the recommendation of Eva Heller.
