Let’s talk it out!
***
How do we move from accepting our own bodies to practicing fat liberation collectively? How do experiences of weight discrimination intersect with gender, sexuality, and racism?
***
Our panelists discuss which bodies are allowed to be visible and how representation is linked to justice and self-determination. Together we find the meaning of “Bodies in Solidarity” and explore how we can create spaces where all bodies feel safe, seen and desired.

Rebecca Solari is a transdisciplinary artist from Ticino (CH) who lives in Bienne (CH). Her practice navigates between performance, video, music, curation, installation and is based on self-representation and on the desire to destroy pre-established codes. Rebecca Solari is a member of the electro-punk duo Crème solaire and the music/performance project fulmine.
Ray Belle
Ray is an activist through and through - whether they're on stage as their drag alter ego Ray Belle or off stage. As they've learned that their existence as a fat (queer) person is political, they've become louder, angrier and more active about fat liberation - and they're not going back!
FupaMagic
FupaMagic creates moments to interact with music and art. They are a curator of social spaces that center the joy and aesthetics of versatile ideas of accessibility. FupaMagic works collaboratively to create fat liberation spaces in queer-feminist contexts across Europe.
Joh von Felten
Joh is based in Zurich and is a board co-chair of IGLYO, the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer and Intersex (LGBTQI) Youth & Student Organisation. Their activism focuses on intergenerational community building, fat liberation and accessibility, as well as organising queer cultural events.
