Queer life has never been just a footnote. The “Pride Tour” brings historical voices that have often been ignored to life at various stops in Klein-/Grossbasel. It shows Basel as a place where the queer community has been at home for a long time.

The queer city tour is organized by the Genderbox association, which, in collaboration with Art of Intervention and the Center for Gender Studies, has designed this city tour in the run-up to ESC 2025 to raise awareness of gender and LGBTQIA+ issues in the long term. The tour is part of the Basel Tourism program.
