The Lust*awards are presented in recognition of outstanding cinematic achievements in relation to their queer feminist contribution to society by a select, professional jury of experts. The Lust*awards only consider Short Films submitted to the festival.
Award Categories:
The ceremony will take place on Sunday, September 12, at 4 p.m. at Stadtkino. Right after, you can enjoy a screening of the winning short films. An Audience Award will also be presented across all categories, giving the public a chance to highlight their favorites.

Is a photographer, videographer, and graphic designer born in Switzerland in 1993. She graduated from ECAL (Ecole Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne) in 2018 and now teaches video there. She co-founded Oil Productions, a collective born out of a desire to create ethical, queer, and experimental X-rated content. Between 2021 and 2023, she participated in the FdS (Festival artistique des affects, des genres et des sexualités) as a film programmer and video manager.

Angela Addo, the musician and DJ from Lucerne is not only on stage or\nbehind the decks. They are also politically vocal for queer-feminist\nview points and dismantle racism and discrimination. Angela is an\neducator who inspires others not only to improve themselves but also to\ntake positive action. Among other things they create parties like the\nSTFU in Lucerne where marginalized voices are uplifted and can thrive.

Lives in Switzerland and studied animation at the Lucerne School of Design, Film, and Art. His film PIPES has been shown at countless festivals, including the Sundance Film Festival and the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, and has won numerous awards. He works as a freelance filmmaker, animator and sound designer.

The non-profit association Lust*streifen Film Festival Basel is dedicated to the cultural-political mission of promoting the queer-feminist film and cultural scene in Basel and Switzerland. The main goal of the association is to strengthen diversity and tolerance in society and thereby to promote and display queer ways of living. Lust*streifen does not pursue commercial gain and does not seek to make a profit. It is politically and denominationally neutral and independent.
As a member you will be invited to the opening screening and receive goodies. Within the association, you will encounter a large community that actively promotes discussion and diversity and is characterized by strong social cohesion. Corporate members and organizations also benefit from reduced sponsorship options.
